What Are Theme Nights?
Here at The Knights Table, we hold a monthly theme night offering guests the opportunity to sample an array of dishes from around the world, the latest being Japan, a sample of the menu and photos are shown below.
The evenings include a 6-course savoury taster menu followed by choice of dessert and tea or coffee giving customers a small taste of food they may not have normally tried. Due to the extensive range of dishes, we unfortunately cannot cater for different dietary requirements.
Our next theme night will be ‘A taste of Italy’ held on Thursday 14th and 21st September 2023 7.30pm £27.95pp, bookings are essential and we hope to see you soon!

One of the main reasons why our Theme Nights are so popular is because we keep the menu a secret until you arrive on the night; allowing you to experience the dishes at first hand, a surprise every time!
As an example of the type of food to expect, here is the menu from our Japanese theme night we had on this week:
A Taste of Japan
Okinawa Soba
Rich pork and miso broth with noodles, mushroom and spring onion.
Platter of Sushi
Tuna Sashimi, cooked salmon California roll and norimaki – cucumber roll.
Toriniku Tatsuta age
Deep fried crispy marinated chicken with ponzu sauce.
Wagyu Carpaccio
Japanese take on the Italian classic with Maudsley farm wagyu beef fillet.
Ebi Katsu
Tiger prawns deep fried in panko breadcrumbs with pickled onions.
Kare Raisu
Maudsley farm wagyu beef with vegetables in Japanese curry, served with jasmine rice.
Desserts
Matcha and white chocolate Swiss roll

Toffee apple gyozas with coconut ice cream.
Tea or Coffee
As these theme night tend to be quite popular and book up almost instantly, we have decided to release two dates for our next theme night in September, to allow new customers to try out these special evenings. The next theme nights will be held on the 14th and 21st of September with a 7:00pm arrival time and the first dish being served at 7:30pm.
The price of our theme nights have increased to £27.95 per person starting in September, which includes everything mentioned above.
